Duties
The incumbent Associate CIO serves as the FCC's senior information technology software developer, solution architect, and focal point for all system activity and planning, and applications portfolio management leader for software acquisition for FCC Bureau and Offices.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Time in grade restrictions do not apply to Direct Hire procedures.
GS-15 Candidates must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as follows: 1) Experience leading software development teams, plans and managing budgets.2) Experience reviewing and evaluating business requirements, standards and preparing system or solution specifications.3) Experience working with cloud architecture, computer networking, data elements and database design, information engineering, agile software development methodologies, DEVOPS and DEVSECOPS.4) Experience providing technical advice relative to research, design, development and maintenance of systems.5) Experience utilizing system analysis techniques and analyzing requirements as elements of a total system.6) Experience preparing summary assessments or independent evaluation.
