Duties

Assist journey-level, or other higher graded maintenance workers under general supervision in general landscaping and grounds maintenance, basic carpentry, simple electrical installations or repairs, basic plumbing work, and painting interior and exterior surfaces, and perform a variety of janitorial services. Assist in the performance of building maintenance work including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting. Mow and trim lawn areas, remove weeds, sweep walks and other common areas, remove trash, and prepare landscaping beds. Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilets, and urinals. Clean visitor use areas using brooms, vacuum cleaners, buffers, and mops.
