You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Contract Management Office for the MyNavy Career Center (MNCC) of MY NAVY CAREER CENTER.
Duties
You will analyze business data to identify process inefficiencies.
You will develop implementing recommendations for improving the effectiveness of operating programs.
You will analyze program operations (e.g., performance, business, leadership programs) to detect negative trends.
You will prepare statistical reports to support technical or business decision-making.
You will prepare a report or assessment to present conclusions of ordnance business process analysis.
You will analyze administrative office processes to identify methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
You will advise managers on program initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency.

- Work is primarily sedentary in nature, but may require some walking, standing, bending and carry light items. Work may require travel to locations of contractors to ensure compliance and monitor or resolve issues.
- Work is performed in an office setting which is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Provides technical advice on contract specifications and develops a Performance Work Statement (PWS) detailing the contract performance expectations. 2. Provides yearly input to Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) on performance of contractual commitments. 3. Determines if there is a continuing need for contract services and provides timely justification for task orders, option exercises, or follow-on contracts. 4. Enters proper data into the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system's (Wide Area Work Flow) WAWF system to ensure requirements have been met and contracts are promptly paid.
