Duties
You will assist the team lead to help coordinate tasking and commonality between multiple industrial specialists/logicians supporting multiple programs.
You will assist the team lead in overseeing and managing life cycle processes for government-owned property being utilized by contractors.
You will develop, implement, administer, evaluate, monitor, or coordinate programs, policies, regulations, and procedures concerned with the management, control, utilization, disposition, and movement of Government Furnished Property (GFP).
You will review contractor property management and purchasing systems, performs investigations of instances of lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed government property, and uses various contractor and Navy databases to report and manage GFP.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
FOR DS-04:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing advice and assistance on property-related matters during acquisition planning, contract formation, and contract administration;
2) Familiarity with contractor property management and purchasing systems;
3) Knowledge of FARS, DFARS, and contract requirements driving compliance and management of government-owned property;
4) Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending approval/disapproval of Government Furnished Property (GFP) material disposition during the acquisition lifecycle.
FOR DS-05:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Overseeing/managing life cycle processes for government-owned property, including developing, implementing, administering, evaluating, monitoring, or coordinating programs, policies, regulations, and procedures concerned with the management, control, utilization, disposition, and movement of GFP (Government Furnished Property);
2) Providing advice and assistance on property-related matters during acquisition planning, contract formation, and contract administration;
3) Managing all audit activities pertaining to Government Property and Prime Contractor Capital Assets; and
4) Conducting Technical Reviews to evaluate and recommend approval/disapproval of all GFP utilization and movement.

Education
The following education may be substituted for specialized experience, at the DS-04 level:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or LL.M., if related
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
