You will serve as a Industrial Specialist (Aircraft) in the Industrial Support Department, Operations Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will be responsible for the processing of Navy Aircraft for all Stricken Aircraft Reclamation and Disposal Program (SARDIP) part/component reclamation/disposal.
You will request cost estimates for routine projects, special projects and aircraft withdrawals negotiating program revisions as needed.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Aircraft Engine Management System Engine Transaction Report
(DECKPLATE ETR) database is up to date and accurate for both installed and uninstalled aircraft engines.
You will ensure that the Navy Status report and the Uninstalled engine report reflects all Navy aircraft in their proper storage category.
You will provide technical direction and control for all facets of Naval aircraft and engine preservation, shipping, storage, and DEMIL preparation/aircraft engine disposal on a worldwide basis.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience statement at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating an extensive knowledge in aircraft and engine reclamation, demilitarization, and disposal efforts. Specialized experience includes maintaining aircraft inventory reports, directing aircraft section moves, storing material. Examples of specialized experience includes: 1) A knowledge of requirements, installed and uninstalled Navy aircraft engines processing in, preservation, parts reclamation, engine Reclamation in Lieu of Procurement (RILOP) and engine transfer, withdrawal or disposal. 2) Rewriting and correcting Aircraft Sealing diagrams; 3) Entering aircrafts and engine parts as artifacts into multiple databases; 4) Utilizing several databases and Microsoft programs to prepare and complete paperwork, write special requests, complete other daily functions to support the Customer; and 5) Supporting Foreign Military sales for countries obtaining reclamation aircraft
