Duties
You will interpret educational policies, directives, and regulations issued by headquarters and higher echelon to support training programs.
You will advise personnel on the concepts of testing procedures.
You will develop statistical spreadsheets to illustrate whether performance goals or objectives are being met.
You will conduct data mining to gather statistical data.
You will adjust or accommodate changes in project scope and priorities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Recent graduate positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating, interpreting and applying statistical data, to include the reliability and validity of processes; 2) Applying higher level writing and grammar skills to include writing techniques and methods, industry standards, and trends; 3) Developing job training for individual or groups of personnel; and 4) Developing and leading teams to produce professional projects. Education
To be considered you must be a recent college graduate, awarded a degree by a qualifying educational institution not more than two years before the date of appointment (extended to four years before date of appointment for veterans who completed a period of obligated uniformed service of more than four years, and were awarded a degree by qualifying educational institution).

For the 0180 Psychology Series:
Successfully completed a degree with a major or equivalent in psychology for a specialization other than clinical or counseling psychology.
OR
Successfully completed all the requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
OR
Successfully completed 2 full academic years of graduate study directly related to professional work in counseling psychology, or successfully completed all the requirements for a master's degree directly related to counseling psychology in an accredited educational institution
For the 1750 Instructional Systems Series:
Successfully completed a 4 year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours appropriate to the work of the position. My course work included study in at least four of the five following areas: 1) Learning theory, psychology of learning, educational psychology: Study of learning theories as they relate to the systematic design, development, and validation of instructional material. 2) Instructional design practices: Study of the principles and techniques used in designing training programs, developing design strategy and models, and applying design methods to the improvement of instructional effectiveness. 3) Educational evaluation: Study of the techniques for evaluating the effectiveness of instructional/educational programs, including developing written and performance tests and survey instruments, and determining reliability and validity of evaluation instruments. 4) Instructional product development: Study of the techniques appropriate for developing training materials, including identifying learner characteristics, specifying objectives, applying training strategy, validating training materials, and evaluating training. 5) Computers in education and training: Study of the application of computers in education and training, including selecting appropriate computer software.
In lieu of specialized experience, the following education may be substituted to meet the minimum qualifications requirement:
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
