Since 1789, the Office of the Clerk has served as the official record keeper of the U.S. House of Representatives and proudly supports the nonpartisan legislative functions of the institution. The Office of Communications serves all divisions of the Office of the Clerk and other nonpartisan House partners with a wide range of print and digital publications, an innovative approach to problem solving, and exceptional customer service.
Duties
Salary Range: Up to $81,625. Grade level at the time of
appointment is determined by experience and designated level of responsibility. Closing Date: Open until filled.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAbility to perform the major duties described above. Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, or a related field. Three years of relevant professional experience. Strong project management skills and the ability to follow project plans. Proficiency using Chicago Manual of Style and other editorial guidelines.Strong oral communications and presentation skills.Advanced use of MS Office; knowledge of Adobe CC; familiarity with newsletter and survey software; experience using content management systems.
