You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Quality Assurance Department, Trident Refit Facility, Bangor (TRFB) of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
Duties
You will evaluate department administrative, management, and technical processes for effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with requirements.
You will lead initiatives and participate in process improvement events throughout department divisions to analyze processes and identify waste, inefficiencies, deficiencies, and areas for improvement.
You will use outputs from this analysis to define problems and develop actions to correct or improve processes with input.
You will procure or assist department staff with procurement of supplies, equipment, services, and travel.
You will coordinate department training programs by issuing training requirements, tracking training completion, and inputting completed training into training management systems.
You will develop and manage the department records and directives programs and serve as the department representative for command records and directives.
You will assist the department training programs for effectiveness, training needs, identifying trends or problems, and preparing reports that recommend corrective action and improvements.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing project trends to evaluate and recommend or establish solutions regarding training, quality assurance, or ship repair program or processes and methods for an organization.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical techniques to identify program deficiencies and recommend improvements for the efficiency of a training, quality assurance, or ship repair program.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09:
- Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree related to the position being filled
OR
- Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree related to the position being filled
OR
- Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled
GS-07:
- One full year of graduate level education
OR
- Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
