About the Position:
As a Program Manager (Internship) you will work collaboratively to develop and organize the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID) Internship Program with colleges and universities throughout the country.
The position is located in Quantico, VA.
Duties
Manage a variety of intern programs for the organization.
Identify weaknesses within intern programs to devise improvements to them.
Maintain liaison with program managers on program requirements/qualifications to acquire successful internship candidates.
Assess interns' progress and experience to determine/arrange individual or group support.
Develop and maintain statistical data for the assessment of internship programs/initiatives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Business travel is up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes provide support in the execution of an intern program for a large-scale organization; collaborate with a variety of stakeholders such as: program managers, colleges and/or universities to ensure all functions of an intern program are accomplished; assess the state of an intern program to provide ideas that lead to objectives being met; and formulate initiatives to recruit a talented interns. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
