About the Position:
Serves as Chief, Military Personnel (G1) Section within the Transatlantic Division (TAD) under the supervision of the Deputy Commander.

Duties
Collaborates with senior leaders to coordinate changes affecting the military Human Resources Programs of the organization.
Advises management officials on problems involving the relationships of the operations supervised to broader programs and their impact on such programs.
Oversees the execution and implementation of Department of Army policy on military human resources service programs.
Develops internal administrative policies and procedures to initiate changes required by the change in program operations and to promote greater efficiency.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience that includes presenting briefings to organizational level leadership regarding manpower distribution and workforce management in order to ensure maximum efficiency; and applying a comprehensive knowledge of human resources regulations and policies governing military planning and personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
