You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG) of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
Duties
You will conduct task analysis to determine training requirements.
You will plan and develop supplemental handout material to be used in classes based on students’ needs.
You will incorporate any changes, as approved by the Academics Manager, identified by the staff, faculty, or students during the Program of Instruction (POI)s conduct.
You will use the Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education principles.
You will shape learning outcomes, learning objectives, and specific curriculum content within training or educational objectives, instructional strategies, and teaching methods appropriate to achieving the program and student learning outcomes.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- The Incumbent must gain certification, within six months of appointment, from Train the Trainer School (T3S) or equivalent, in Formal Schools Managers Course (FSMC) and Curriculum Developers Course (CDC).
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing control and uniformity of instructional courseware; planning and coordinating the design, development, and documentation of instructional courseware; and evaluating training programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
