You will serve as a Requirements Integrator Analyst/Knowledge Manager in the Logistics, Engineering and Security Cooperation Directorate (J4) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

You will build relationships to form and lead collaborative planning teams. You will generate written directions, guidelines, and apply theater planning guidance. You will represent the USINDOPACOM J44 Engineering Division to outside organizations within the branch. You will develop plans and recommendations that translate operational requirements into actionable infrastructure requirements. You will lead collaborative planning and process shaping, validating, and synchronizing Service Component infrastructure requirements. You will initiate preparation for timely reports to leadership. You will be part of the knowledge management team.

Requirements

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

GS-13: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a strong working knowledge of military construction and unspecified minor construction requirements and limitations. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Planning and analyzing engineer requirements and authoring engineer annexes and appendixes for OPLANs and theater level campaign and logistical plans; 2) Developing Theater Posture Plans and supporting Enduring Location Master List (ELML); 3) Validating current and emerging contingency and enduring locations; 4) Having experience staffing and developing engineer orders, instructions, and directives; 5) Recommending improvements to policies and processes; and 6) Briefing senior leaders using written and verbal communication skills.
