Duties

You will collaborate with Cyber Security on Certification and Accreditation (C and A) documentation to achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) for IT systems. You will collaborate with multiple DNA Teams and subject matter experts across a variety of IT disciplines to ensure optimal operation of IT systems. You will apply technical project planning and management principles, methods and practices. You will evaluate the capabilities of state-of-the-art COTS hardware and software products to address customer-specific IT operational requirements. You will develop and deliver effective oral and written briefings, presentations, IT system demonstrations, and reports in which complex material is conveyed.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

You resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the four competencies listed above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-4 grade level or pay band GS-11/12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing DevSecOps practices including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deliver (CI/CD) Pipelines, Agile Development and Containerized Application Hosting; 2) Applying technical expertise in all IT functional areas (including but not limited to: project management, design, networks, cyber security) and ability to integrate this expertise with practical knowledge of the mission, objectives, and operations; 3) Applying knowledge of systems development tools, hardware architecture and application software products; and 4) Collaborating with all levels of personnel, planning/assigning work, resolving complaints/complex issues, and providing day-to-day tasking and technical direction for a team.
