You will serve as a BUSINESS ANALYST in the BUSINESS AND STRATEGIC PLANNING OFFICE at PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will conduct workload forecasting; coordinating, compiling, and analyzing all pertinent workload.
You will conduct short- and long-range workload studies to determine possible resource requirements and resource mitigation strategies based on changing work practices.
You will develop and maintain business metrics from a wide variety of sources that allow customers to quickly assess situations.
You will assist with the development and maintenance of the Commands' capability plans in support of the Department of Navy's Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution processes.
You will maintain internal contacts with all levels of management within Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
You will perform comparative analysis of various documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting analysis for workload or workforce forecasting, studies, or strategic planning in support of ship maintenance. Examples of qualifying experience may include: interpreting and analyzing business information to forecast workload or workforce; providing guidance in matters concerning alignment of long-range scheduling; or evaluating the impact of changes to workload or workforce.
