You will serve as a TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the MyNavy HR IT Solutions Program of PEO MLB SOLUTIONS.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 3), the total adjusted salary may be capped at GS-14, step 7 equivalent for the duty stations listed above.
Duties
You will lead the development and execution of acquisition strategies to establish goals and objective compliant with applicable regulatory and statutory policies.
You will provide oversight/staffing of Milestone (MS) and Interim Progress Review (IPR) documents, briefings, strategies, plans, program management
processes, and risk analyses.
You will manage all phases of the acquisition life cycle to define, develop, design, integrate, test and evaluate, and sustain the IT system(s) and apply acquisition regulations, policies, and reform initiatives to ensure efficient execution.
You will develop and communicate the goals and objectives of the system in support of PEO MLB overall objectives and directs the development of the documentation required to establish these goals and objectives in accordance with formal requirements.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customers to facilitate resolution of complex Business IT issues and risks.
You will assist in the development of procedures, strategies, and methods to provide maximum integrity, cost effectiveness, and adherence to the acquisition process.
You will conduct research, analysis, and evaluation of cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure the system is developed, deployed, and sustained within approved thresholds.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the cost, schedule, performance, and risk efforts for evolving/future training and education systems or IT systems.
