Duties
Serve as a Program Analyst for Medical Logistics functional management processes for the Defense Medical Logistics Enterprise in the Business Operations Division.
Advise the Defense Health Agency Medical Logistics (MEDLOG) Leadership, the Governing Boards for Medical Logistics, and all functional and technical end
users as requirements are solicited, collected, and entered into governance processes.
Advise Defense Health Agency Portfolio Boards and software development activities on a full range of data and information management principles and practices.
Assist with information requirements and management processes related requirements content for Military Health System (MHS) automation systems that support the Defense Medical Logistics Enterprise business processes affecting the MHS supply chain.
Oversee standardization and consistency of data to ensure accuracy and availability across the spectrum of health care logistics Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) activities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Approximately 5% travel may be required. Travel may involve local, and or overnight.

Basic Requirements:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting in the standardization of data to ensure accuracy across the health care logistics spectrum, conducting quality reviews on medical logistic data to ensure streamlined processes, and supporting the overall objectives by recommending methodologies and resources to meet the functional requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
