Duties

Serve in dual roles, as the Senior Civilian Career Program Manager for the Manpower and Force Management Career Program (CP26). Serve as Manpower and Force Management Policy expert in the U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), G8 Comptroller’s Office Responsible for the life-cycle operation of CP26 to include creating, planning, developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating career management programs for the education and development of Department of the Army careerists. Determine the Program of Instruction (POI) for the CP26 foundation course and coordinates on other related instruction material and courses. Evaluate program structure, composition of functional specialties, and effectiveness of career program management. Initiate research, benchmarking studies, pilot programs and other appropriate actions to identify and address existing and emerging gaps in the civilian workforce. Determine direct or indirect impact of new legislation, executive and regulatory issuances on the total CP26 workforce development program.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
• Financial Statement OGE 450 required.
• Financial Management Level 3 Certification required.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel required 40% of the time.
