You will serve as an AMPHIBIOUS WARFARE SHIPS ANALYST in the MARITIME EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE DIRECTORATE of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.
Duties
You will provide analytic subject matter expertise to develop the operational requirements for Navy programs that extensively affect the Marine Corps.
You will support the development and review of Marine Corps, naval, multi-Service, joint, and multi-national publications and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) as they relate to Amphibious Warfare Ships (AWS).
You will serve as Amphibious Warfare Ship Section Lead or Expeditionary Ships Capability (ESC) Branch Head representative as necessary for the identification, planning, coordination, and determination and expression of the Marine Corps’ position.
You will develop and utilize spreadsheet models in support of optimization, decision analysis, resource allocation, or other operational problem-solving
efforts.
You will review and assess planning documentation, and a variety of supporting documents, briefs, and plans submitted by supporting organizations, or the
Services.
You will support the Branch’s SharePoint Web-site administration effort to maintain currency of Congressional testimony information papers, program
briefs, and documents associated with the Branch’s portfolio of amphibious warfare ships.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and analytical expertise to coordinate across warfighting functions to identify and disseminate critical capability sets and develop operational requirements for amphibious warfare ships capabilities.
