Duties
You will provide technical and operational support to the Fleet for ship salvage, diving, undersea operations, oil and hazardous substance (IHS) incident response, and ocean engineering programs.
You will advise on overall planning and program requirements.
You will determine the systems, equipment and personnel to be deployed.
You will coordinate efforts with other response organizations including the Coast Guard, EPA, and NOAA.
You will consult with other Commands, Services and Federal Agencies in the development of response plans, and in training or response teams.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing spill response or salvage evolutions to ensure adherence to federal, state, and national regulations for recovery or clean up operations.
