Duties
Formulates guidance, provides assistance and recommends potential solutions addressing difficult problems and issues.
Analyzes and evaluates review or examination findings and develops formalized reports to include recommendations and identification of suggested changes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
Performs analysis and makes recommendations for corrective or process improvement actions to foster increased efficiency and reductions in operations costs.
Reviews proposed actions and recommendations for accuracy, responsiveness, clarity, and impact on both short and long term strategies.

Qualifications

To be hired at the GS-12 entry grade level, applicants must minimally have:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the federal service performing complex data analysis and evaluation of financial systems, policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the continuity of a financial system's operations.
Specialized experience is defined as: reviews, analyzes, and evaluates programs, activities, systems, reports and processes; formulates guidance, provides assistance and recommends potential solutions addressing difficult problems and issues; conducts functional operational reviews and is knowledgeable and experienced in the application of business principles in examining work processes, records, structures and management controls for compliance with laws, regulations, economy and efficiency and/or effectiveness in achieving desired results; reviews and develops comments and responses to proposed or final policy and regulatory changes and suspense's; develops and presents, both orally and in writing, recommendations for corrections of deficiencies and improvements in operations to operating officials.
