You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Manpower Directorate of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Duties
You will conduct management and position management appraisals, manpower surveys or studies, and program operations of activities and functions of Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC) Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC).
You will recommend priorities for utilization and reallocation of manpower resources based on analysis of assigned, specified and/or implied missions.
You will prepare monthly submission of the manpower strength reports for higher headquarters.
You will develop or revise manpower requirements standards and staffing guides through accurate application of various standards used to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of performance.
You will collect and analyze pertinent organizational data and information develop statistical and narrative data to justify any changes and recommendations; prepare and present briefings.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical and evaluative methods to advise management officials on manpower and human resources programs; consolidating data to present briefings to leadership; analyzing and developing recommendations for improvement in program operations and objectives.
GS-09:
our resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical methods to analyze organization effectiveness; assisting in analyzing data to develop various types of reports; applying statistical methods and techniques to compute and analyze raw data.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
