This position is located in the Information Technology (IT) Group, Program Management Directorate, Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Headquarters. Serves as the subject matter expert for all activity related to DeCA migration to a set of modernized, standardized business and financial system projects.

Duties

Employs exceptional problem-solving skills to include the ability to identify problems, to formulate solutions, create consensus for solutions supporting business objectives, to translate over-arching goals into specific objectives for the project development and to hold themself and others accountable for project deliverables. Technical authority within the IT Group and consultant with responsibility for planning, formulating, implementing and evaluating, to accomplish program mission requirements. Monitor cost, schedule, and performance for IT service contract.. Broad knowledge of developments and new applications of information technology (hardware, software, telecommunications), emerging technologies and their applications. Qualifications

You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 2210 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Experience: Your resume must clearly show that you have one year specialized equivalent to at least GS-11. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Skill in applying new IT developments and applications; project management principles, methods and practices. Conducting AoA's studies to evaluate new, changed, and future processes to determine best solutions. Ability to monitor contractor performance, serve as the technical liaison between the contractor and the contracting officer; contract review (including terms and conditions); and reviews that satisfaction and delivery of requirements has been met. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Physical requirements: The work is primarily sedentary and requires no special physical effort or demands.
