About the Position: Serves as a Senior Analyst for the Joint Activities located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Duties

Assigns work relating to reports and studies to subordinates and determines work schedules and priorities. Coordinates and oversees the development of published and unpublished lessons learned products, Identifies trends through quantitative and qualitative analyses of strategic and operational operations being conducted worldwide. Review data derived from joint exercises/experimentations, military training exercises, military operations, and information obtained from inter agency and international organizations. Reviews and comprehensively analyzes data, conducts background research and data mining to support ongoing projects of the command. Monitor performance standards and evaluates performance of subordinates.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and selected Special Access Program (SAPs) based on a Tier 5 (or equivalent) investigation.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • May require TDY travel up to 30 days CONUS and OCONUS up to 15% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position is subjected to short notice recall. Must reside within 50-mile radius of duty location.
  • May be required to work uncommon hours, working either fixed or rotating shift which may include evenings, weekend, and/or holidays.
