About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Maintain and share policy expertise with standards and regulations related to the planning, development, management, and authentication of equipment publications.
Conduct In-Process Review (IPR) and Final Reproducible Copy (FRC) Technical Manual (TM) Reviews using the Interactive Authoring Display Software (IADS) viewer to document comments.
Communicate results of TM reviews to division peers.
Deliver support services to division-wide peers and subordinates with occasional oversight.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics advanced certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- Probationary period may be required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized experience:1) Interpreting publication regulatory guidance in order to provide policy and procedural guidance; 2) providing publication development guidance to others; AND 3) reviewing equipment publications.

This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS- 13, step 05 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 05 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
