About the Position: Oversee a team of operation research analysts, mission analysis, and program analysis responsible for mission is creating, planning, designing, and developing distribution methodology for recruiters and to achieve recruiting goals for all mission categories. The incumbent will use a variety of analytical techniques to analyze and recommend the distribution and allocation of brigade (BDE)resources to achieve the mission.
Duties
Utilizes input from stakeholders to make changes to market boundaries and organizational configurations involving recruiting.
Assign marketing research task to subordinate employees within command.
Reviews market studies to determine the effective distribution of Brigade (BDE) resources.
Recommends approval of recruiting market analysis (RMA) studies to support strategic development.
Conducts inspections of subordinate locations to ensure conformality with established market analysis procedures.
Develops database queries to improve the retrieval of marketing data.
Prepares briefings for organizations workforce regarding market analysis methodologies and mission assignment techniques.
Manages a team providing market analysis and redistribution recommendations to subordinate battalions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting target market research to identify market and/or mission trends; integrating data from various computer databases; utilizing statistical techniques to participate in or conduct complex studies; and operating an automated system to perform external and internal research. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
