Serves as an Administrative Program Specialist in the Quality Control Group. Oversees, plans, develops, monitors, and executes actions required to manage the office’s administrative functions. Provides support to supervisors, managers and other employees in day-to-day operations: which includes the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, property management, procurements, and overall office management.

Plans, develops, monitors and executes actions required to manage the office’s administrative functions. Provides support to supervisors, managers, and other employees in day-to-day operations: which includes the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, property management, procurements, and overall office management. Conducts studies, analyses and surveys or programmatic, administrative and management methods, processes and procedures to resolve issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature. Interviews program managers and employees to obtain information about administrative, management and/or programmatic requirements, issues and activities. Researches, gathers, assembles, analyzes and consolidates administrative, management and/or programmatic information and data ensuring overall accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-7 or FV-E. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience will include: Specialized experience includes: compiling, tracking, and analyzing information for a wide variety of programs pertaining to fiscal management, travel, management information systems, property management, procurements, and overall office management; developing statistical charts and graphs and edits textual material; reviewing and presenting documents and reports on a variety of issues; and making recommendation as appropriate.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Education

Substitution of Education:

Education as identified below may be substituted for the 52 weeks of specialized experience.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

OR

LL.M., if related

Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Accreditation may be verified at the following website: www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/index.html.

Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
