Duties
Serves as the Warrior Athlete Resilience Section Head, Semper Fit/Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience Branch (MFS), Marine and Family Programs Division (MF) Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department (M&RA), Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). Supports Marine Corps Total Fitness efforts within the Semper Fit/WARR Branch and Marine and Family Division. Leads integrated, collaborative, and modern program delivery, resource management, infrastructure development, and policy design in the areas of single Marine programs, installations sports and athletics, sleep and performance education, spiritual fitness, resilience and wellness, recreation, mobile, remote, and deployed capabilities, for Marines and their families. Organizes and positions program capabilities to support warfighter readiness, lethality, and resilience while synchronously reinforcing family and community wellbeing. Develops measures of effectiveness and conducts analysis and assessment related to program needs, productivity, and efficacy. Guides acquisition, standardization, reconfiguration, repair, design, construction, and outfitting for equipment, technology, outdoor areas, and facilities. Collaborates with stake holders and strategic partners to create an integrated network of support for Marines and families in the areas of physical, mental, spiritual, social, nutritional, sleep, and environmental fitness. Continuously works to modernize and integrate all aspects of health, wellness, prevention, and performance.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in physical education, exercise science, sports management, sports psychology, human performance, or a related field is required. A master's degree or higher in a related field preferred. AND ten years of experience that demonstrates the possession of leadership, managerial, analytic, and supervisory knowledge, skills, and abilities in the areas of integrated program delivery, resource and talent management, infrastructure design, and policy development for human performance programs - single Marine programs, installations sports and athletics, sleep and performance education, spiritual fitness, resilience and wellness, recreation, mobile, remote, and deployed capabilities. Experience with Marine Corps Total Fitness framework and policy development. Experience with Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience concepts and system structure. Experience in oversight for Marine Corps wide programs delivery. Demonstrated skill and experience in the evaluation and assessment of program needs and effectiveness. Demonstrated experience with institutional budget development. Demonstrated experience with metric development and evaluation. Skill and experience in coordinating and supervising teams. Skill and experience with developing operational procedures and guidelines. Experience with NAF procurement processes and guidelines is preferred.Telework: Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MF policy.
