You will serve as a Lead Information Technology Specialist (Data Management) in the Marine Corps Systems Command of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

You will serve as team lead and subject matter expert for the Human Capital Management (HCM) Information Systems Team. You will coordinate assigned functions with the Division Head to discuss work-related changes affecting their organization and provide recommendations for improvement. You will assign tasks, coordinate efforts of the team, provide guidance and direction, monitor and track team work assignment and progress, and provide input to annual performance assessments. You will administer the day-to-day database operation and maintenance in a complex environment consisting of multiple databases. You will lead all phases of the application development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, interface design, testing, debugging, and maintenance. You will lead the team in working with customers to determine project requirements; develop project plans to include team task assignments, priorities, and deadlines. You will provide quality control reviews to ensure that products meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-11 or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases; evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures; defining systems scope and objectives; and performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions.
