This position is in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW., Washington, DC, in the Bureau for Global Health, Office of Population and Reproductive Health (GH/PRH) at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Duties
Provides supervision necessary for accomplishing the unit’s work; establishes guidelines and performance expectations; provides formal and informal feedback; and evaluates employee performance.
Serves as the Agency expert in family planning/reproductive health (FP/RH) service delivery; generates and shares policy and program recommendations; and oversees the direction of the PRH service delivery portfolio.
Leads development of strategies for Agency FP/RH service delivery improvement priorities, programs, and partnerships; Makes recommendations and contributes to strategic planning efforts for USAID’s FP/RH Program.
Requirements

Specialized Experience:
GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: a) Demonstrated program leadership and staff management experience to advance goals, and program outcomes for family planning/reproductive health (FP/RH) for U.S. government (USG) or International Organizations with programs in low or lower-middle income countries. b) Demonstrated experience in advising USG, host-country or external stakeholders on FP/RH health issues for program planning and implementation in low or lower-middle income countries. c) Demonstrated program design and management experience for USG or other donor funded activities relevant to FP/RH, including conceptualization for activity design and implementation in low or lower-middle income countries.
