You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Team Submarine of PEO SSN.
Duties
You will provide authoritative information and analysis for all aspects of submarine program offices to include acquisition efforts.
You will prepare and coordinate the timely submission of all data calls including Congressional items of interest, public affairs queries, and program briefs.
You will coordinate with internal and external contacts ensuring that all responses are submitted accurately and in a timely manner while providing a consistent program message.
You will conduct analysis of legislation and its impact to the program.
You will execute and update acquisition documentation as well as regulatory and statutorily required functions in support of submarine program office efforts.
You will prepare and disseminate authoritative program office metrics for use by senior Navy decision makers.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector directing analytical studies and evaluating program requirements (e.g., financial, contractual, logistical, procurement, technical) to eliminate resource constraints and improve project performance for ensuring efficient acquisition strategies or program operations.
