As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-12/13, you will be part of Workforce Policy and Innovation, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for staying in constant communication with your agency points of contact during the entire survey process.

Duties

Review data research efforts to guide governmentwide decisions on Federal Human Capital Management. Translate analytical findings into strategies and recommendations in a concise manner to effectively communicate with target audiences. Participate in discussions within survey research project teams to plan, coordinate and make decisions related to the study design, data management, or statistical analysis aspects.

Qualifications

For the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Government (or equivalent) with: 1) applying survey methods to collect data in multi-organizational/divisional contexts; 2) analyzing survey data using statistical tools (such as, but not limited to, SPSS, SAS, R or R studio); 3) assisting in producing custom survey datasets for a variety of uses (such as, but not limited to, special reports, stakeholder requests, dashboards); AND 4) assisting in the development of reports and presentations to a variety of audiences to help guide workforce policies and procedures. For the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Government (or equivalent) with: 1) applying survey methods to collect data in multi-organizational/divisional contexts; 2) analyzing survey data using commonly accepted survey research design and statistical tools (such as, but not limited to, SPSS, SAS, R or R studio); 3) producing custom survey datasets for a variety of uses (such as, but not limited to, special reports, stakeholder requests, dashboards); AND 4) developing reports and presentations for a variety of audiences to help guide workforce policies and procedures. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
