About the Position: Serves as MANAGEMENT ANALYST for the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), performing a variety of duties relating to management and supervision of administrative and personnel services, resource management, manpower and information management programs.

Duties

Performs a variety of duties relating to management and supervision of administrative and personnel services, resource management, manpower and information management programs. Performs managerial studies and surveys involving analysis and evaluation. Recommends and develops improvements in operating programs, administrative processes and organizational structures for the DES. Work involves the exercise of a broad knowledge and understanding of pertinent basic statistical, accounting, budget, manpower and management principles. Participates as the primary DES representative in various planning, financial and operational committees and boards.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
