DCSA's Industrial Security Directorate is seeking a highly motivated individual with knowledge and experience to be a Program Management Specialist Supervisor who will bring excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills. Duties
As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Serves as the Chief of Staff, Industrial Security, assisting in all phases of leadership, strategic direction, contractor oversight, and delegated authority.
- Establishes goals, objectives, Operations and Administration, Policy, Standards, Communications.
- Engages with Internal and External mission elements to ensure the Industrial Security Directorate objectives are accomplished.
- Reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives, eliminates work barriers for mission accomplishment.
- Assesses resources and funds expenditures, contract preparation and annual budget forecasts, authorizes training and travel expenditures, and identifies where results do not justify costs.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Leads panels and working groups to coordinate and track internal and external staff actions, and direct teams engaged in various programs, systems, and processes. Oversees the development and implementation of policy, regulation, and standards contributing to the Industrial Security mission. Prepares presentations and provide briefings on expenditures, annual budget forecast, training, and travel expenditures, and provide detail justification for and against funding. Promotes team building, implement quality improvements, or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
