About the Position: The Resource Management Office (RMO) Garrison develops, allocates, executes, analyzes, and reviews use of United States Army Garrison-Fort Detrick resources.
Duties
Formally or informally briefs garrisons, managers, and higher headquarters personnel on resource-related issues.
Research and reconcile financial transactions in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
Prepare ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly Resource Management reports in GFEBS.
Installation Service Reporting (ISR) cost analysis.
Manage the Joint Review Program (JRP).
Research and prepare audit readiness responses.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain the Financial Management level 2 certification with two years (24 months) of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

GS12 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Analyzing cost data (2) Interpreting financial management policies and providing guidance (3) Processing accounting transactions in a financial system such as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Using cost data to plan and control future costs; (2) Interpret financial management policies and provide guidance (3) Processing accounting transactions in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) (4) Preparing documentation and briefing senior management on Resource Management data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
