About the Position: The Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command (AMC), focuses on enabling strategic power projection readiness, total force materiel, and supply chain optimization in support of multi-domain operations.
Duties
Review and recommend on new policies and procedures, provide input of financial business practices.
Lead for all audit readiness responses serving as liaison for all financial accounting including billing, travel entitlements and reimbursables.
Reconcile system interfaces to the Army Financial Systems with extensive knowledge of General Fund Enterprise Business Systems with the ability to interpret accounting and budgetary information.
Analyze and interpret financial documents and reports, recommend solutions pertaining to spending plans, purchase card program, Defense Travel Systems, etc.
Requirements
- Position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Position requires the incumbent to obtain Financial Management Level 2 Certification within 2 years of hire.

Specialized Experience: This position requires one year of specialized experience which includes: 1)Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting various financial documents and reports, recommending solutions to difficult and complex problems; 2) Resolving problems in financial management missions to include the purchase travel card program, Automated Time and Attendance Personnel System (ATAAPS), Defense Travel System (DTS), canceling accounts, travel entitlements, and civilian time and attendance: 3) Monitoring and reconciling system interfaces to the Army Financial System and other systems; 4) Leading on all audit readiness relating to finance.
