You will serve as a RESOURCES ASSISTANT in the Chief of Operations
of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will prepare correspondence, assist with development of policies and procedures, and conduct telephone conversations, conferences and discussions.
You will maintain records, ensuring that necessary changes and amendments are accurately posted and distributed in accordance with regulations and guidelines within required timeframes.
You will transcribe recorded complaints from the Hotline Voicemail from MP3/WAV/CD files.
You will provide office manager and administrative support for the Office of Inspector General.
You will make all necessary arrangements for travel including determining appropriate allowances and differentials.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5/6) or pay band (DG-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Experience drafting memorandums in accordance with agency guidance, such as the Naval Correspondence Manual; 2) Experience extracting/maintaining records, reports and/or files to ensure information is accurately posted; 3) Experience preparing and processing travel documents, including travel orders, vouchers, and itineraries utilizing Defense Travel Systems (DTS) or similar system; 4) Performing a full range of office management procedures to support the planning, coordinating and/or prioritizing of tasks. 5) Maintaining calendar/scheduling appointments and arranging meetings and/or conferences.
