Duties
Performs activities regarding logistics data quality metrics and analysis that are subjective in nature and require an understanding of the single item of supply principles that provide the foundation for the Federal Catalog System (FCS).
Develops, maintains, and leads functional Data Quality plans to include identifying actions to be completed, project baselines, establishment and tracking of completion dates.
Examines logistics data from a variety of sources and includes all Military Services, Federal Agencies, and NATO partners.
Ability to develop/create statistical data using databases and manipulating data files to extract data elements to support business decisions.
Extracts, analyzes and interprets complex data in support of data quality initiatives.
Develops and maintains plans that provide for the establishment and management of data quality project requirements and develops guidance material when needed.
Researches and evaluates manpower and physical resource requirements, determining current and required capabilities, assessing benefits to be realized, and formulating business case.
Participates in meetings with representative from internal and external organizations which may be impacted by recommendations or changes to methods affecting major systems programs within the FCS or other logistical systems.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Logistics Data Quality Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off /closing date of the announcement. In depth understanding of logistics data in support of the Federal Catalog System.
Develops and maintains functional Federal Catalog System Data Quality plans to include identifying actions to be completed, project baselines, establishment, and tracks completion dates.
Performs complex data extracts and analysis in support of data quality initiatives.
Ability in leading individuals or teams in developing statistical data using databases and manipulating data files in support of data quality project plans, Incorporates data quality metric technique practices into logistics data management programs.
Establishes criteria to identify and measure the initiative/project/program accomplishments, and contributes to the improvement of productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency in logistics operations.
