About the Position: This position is located at Fort Shafter, which is on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Oahu is the third largest island in the Hawaiian chain. The island is very geographically diverse with mountains, rainforests, volcanic craters, tropics, beaches and much more. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) is a tobacco-free workplace. Duties

Administers a full range of pre-award and post -award functions such as, negotiations, cost/price analysis, contract administration, contract close out, developing long range acquisition plans for assigned organization. Pre-Award: Evaluates programs to provide guidance to the program manager (PM) and/or evaluate the contract’s structure relating to specific incentive arrangements and statement of work (SOW) requirements. Post-Award: Performs contract management functions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and contractual agreement interpreting contract agreements for command officials/contractors. Operates as Team lead working with an interdisciplinary group of professionals to achieve assigned tasks, produce work products and services to meet program and production goals.

Requirements

• A Foundational Career Level Certification or Contracting Professional Certification must be met within 3 years.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires submission of a financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
• This is an Army Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position. The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
