About the Position: This Program Analyst (Operations) is located at U.S. Army Evaluation Center, Office of the Director with duty location of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. (merit)
Duties
Serve as a Program Analyst (Operations) developing authoritative interpretations of areas such as directives, policies, and precedents that impact test and evaluation mission requirements across the enterprise.
Guide the organization for the Tasking System providing recommendations to leadership on changes to areas such as publications, policies, or procedures.
Conduct review of items such as regulations, policies, and/or directives from leadership for implementation within the organization.
Monitor policies pertinent to attaining objectives consistent with the Military Decision-Making Process.
Brief senior leadership on the status of areas such as tasking's and on-going tasking coordination to disseminate information.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 10% of the time. The employee must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conduct studies utilizing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques pertaining to the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational operations; AND 2) Resolve problems by collaborating on guidance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11/NH-02).
