Incumbent serves as a management and program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations of the organization assigned.
Duties
Assignments cover one or more of the following functional areas; program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, and records and information management); and business management.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5): This position requires completion & favorable adjudication of a Tier 2 (T2) background investigation prior to appointment, unless a waiver is obtained and approved.
- Temporary NTE 1 Year (can be terminated, extended or made permanent without further competition)
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the (FV-H or FG/GS-12) level that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
