You will serve as a EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Headquarters of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will execute the daily functions of front office operations in concert with the Aide-de-Camp for the President, Marine Corps University during normal working hours
You will facilitate the President’s work schedule and manage his/her calendar in accordance with his/her commitments, priorities, preferences, and protocol procedures.
You will arrange meetings with representatives of other agencies, visiting dignitaries, and members of Congress and their staff members.
You will arrange meetings with senior executives from federal agencies, the military community, and high-level private sector dignitaries or members of foreign governments with support from the Protocol Officer.
You will accept, decline or update invitations to meetings and functions by telephone, email, or letter.
You will be responsible for all military correspondence, to include routing, tracking, and filing all documents for the President and Chief of Staff with G-1 support.
You will manage and facilitate MCU staff work, procedures, and office practices affecting subordinate organizations in concert with the Chief of Staff when appropriate.
You will advise and instruct administrative assistants in subordinate organizations on such matters as directives, reports, correspondence, and the telephone procedures.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector hosting large events for a command and higher ranking officers; coordinating visits by foreign delegations, DoD Headquarters, or other governmental agencies and foreign embassies; managing and tracking funds for organizational events; providing administrative procedures and channels of authority; and initiating travel requests, vouchers, and coordinating travel plans for senior personnel in the Defense Travel System (DTS) or similar system.
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in planning large events for a command and higher ranking officers; assisting in managing and tracking funds for organizational events; and assisting in initiating travel requests, vouchers, and coordinating travel plans for senior personnel in the Defense Travel System (DTS) or similar system.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
