Duties
The Director
of the Office of Logistical Services reports to the Chief Administrative
Officer (CAO) and is responsible for planning, administering, and coordinating
the Department's logistical programs. The incumbent provides executive
leadership and direction of the Department’s asset management, property and
equipment management, facilities management and space planning, motor fleet
management, and occupational safety and health management. This position
requires a background investigation and a Top-Secret clearance.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below.For the
CP-14: Incumbent must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience to the
CP-13/GS-15 level. Specialized experience is defined as 1) Comprehensive
and extensive knowledge of strategic and contingency planning. 2) Expert
knowledge of functional requirements for logistics operations, as well as
impact on logistical policies and procedures. 3) Thorough knowledge of Federal
procurement laws, policies, and regulations, as well as experience developing
operational policies and standard operating procedures. 4) Experience managing
