Duties
This position is located in the Office of Logistical Services (OLS), Office
of the Chief Administrative Officer, (OCAO), United States Capitol
Police (USCP).. The Deputy Director shares responsibility for planning, implementing, administering, evaluating and providing a high level of leadership in all aspects of a comprehensive logistical services management program for the USCP in support of the US Capitol complex. This includes establishing immediate and long term management and evaluation goals, developing and implementing program systems, internal controls, and action plans to achieve them; incorporating strategic goals and critical success criteria in the USCP strategic plan; and developing and recommending resource requirements for the program. Responsible for planning and implementing the complete range of management functions of OLS, including managing the budgets and funding in support of USCP's logistics program, and determining the most effective utilization of resources in meeting goals and objectives of the program.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.For the CP-13/GS-15:
Incumbent must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience to the CP-12/GS-14 level. Specialized experience is defined as 1) knowledge of regulations and guidelines, necessary to develop, recommend, and implement agency wide standards, guidelines, and directives for logistics support; 2) ability
to analyze independently and resolve difficult Logistical Support Services
