Duties
You will identify opportunities and make recommendations concerning USMC aviation equities, participate in service and joint capabilities development working groups, seminars, war-games, conferences, and integrated process team meetings.
You will be required to represent the Air Vehicles Integration Branch at a variety of venues involving senior officials from the Marine Corps, the other Services, and the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and industry partners.
You will prepare/supervise and review preparation of correspondence for the Air Vehicles Integration Branch Head prior to submission to the ACE Division Director, Director CDD, Deputy Commandant CDI or the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps.
You will be required to represent the Air Vehicles Integration Branch at a variety of venues involving senior officials from the Marine Corps, the other Services, and the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and industry partners.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to complete the Requirements Management Certification Training as outlined in CJCSI 3170.01H within six months of assuming the position.
- You will be required to complete Total Force Structure Management System Super User training within six months of assuming the position.
- This position may require the incumbent to travel to, and live in, austere field training environments and hostile environments inside and outside the continental Unites States.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, integrating, and articulating Marine Corps aviation warfare capabilities AND anticipating strategic challenges, providing oversight and determining and recommending courses of action to be taken with regard to materiel and non-materiel capabilities development.
