About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USA Intelligence and Security Command Headquarters 513th Military Intelligence Brigade Resource Management Office in Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Duties
Prepare Brigade data tables for General Financial Enterprise Business Systems – Sensitive Activities (GFEBS-SA) and oversees maintenance of Resource Management (RM) On-line IAW guidance from INSCOM, Brigade RMO and Brigade Budget Officer.
Oversee all phases of the Brigade's Civilian Pay Program.
Manage the administration and maintenance of the Defense Travel System (DTS) throughout the Brigade.
Manage the 513th MI Brigade’s overall Government Travel.
Review assignments for accuracy and completeness.
Manage the tracking and analyzing prior year deobligations in order to determine corrective actions impacting future year budgets.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-11)
