About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Command - G8 at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. .

Duties

Provides budget analysis and execution functions for complex budget programs within the Headquarters. Plans, analyzes, formulates, justifies, presents, executes, and reviews single and multi-year budget. Reviews, compiles, summarizes, and prepares budgetary data contained in the Program Budget Guidance (PBG). Manages Continuing Resolution Authority and develops guidance as appropriate to all Command echelons. Monitors budget execution against plans and recommends reprogramming of funding/allowances as appropriate.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
• Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
• Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military External Affairs Division (MEAD) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
• Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 10% of the time.
• Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
• Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
