You will serve as a PROGRAM SPECIALIST (SUICIDE PREVENTION) in the MARINE & FAMILY PROGRAMS DIVISION (MF) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will assist the SPPM in updating, maintaining written policies and procedures and in the oversight of policies and procedures and participates in the review of such updates.
You will conduct assessments of administrative and operational aspects of installation level suicide prevention programs to include participating in on-site reviews in support of Inspector General Marine Corps (IGMC) inspections.
You will research and implement approved techniques or initiatives by making recommendations to leadership about how best to adapt and implement such techniques into the program.
You will serve as an expert analyst in the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising and supporting suicide prevention program efforts.
