About the Position: Serve as a Drug Test Technician for the Directorate of Human Resources, Army Substance Abuse Program Division (ASAP), at Fort Riley, Kansas.
Duties
Coordinates, monitors, and maintains the installation’s urinalysis program, to include the testing of all military personnel, reservists, National Guard, and civilian personnel as identified in AR 600-85.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct operations of the Installation Drug Testing Collection Point (IDCP).
Supports consolidating and analyzing statistical data on the installation urinalysis program.
Participates in the development of a training course for UPLs to ensure adherence to all regulations, policies, and standard uniform procedures, at the unit level during the collection process.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent will be certified by the Department of Army Drug Test Coordinator Certification Course within 9 months of assuming their duties.
- Failure to obtain certification or failure to maintain certification may result in administrative actions and removal from the position.
