About the Position: About the Position: This position is located at the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Army Community Service, Fort Riley, KS.
Duties
Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Army Community Service (ACS) Administrative Officer at any size garrison, who provides program objectives and instructions.
Incumbent of this position provides technical and program support on all administrative and management functions including, but not limited to:
Planning, programming, assessments, inspections, budgeting, training, data processing, personnel, equipment, property and logistics management, reporting and general office management.
Incumbent is responsible for tracking virtually all-financial, personnel, supply, contracting, procurement, and other administrative transactions.

- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time. Are you willing and able to travel away from your permanent duty station up to 10% of the time?

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service which includes, presenting briefings, submitting work requests, preparing budget reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
