This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH)
About the Position: Serves as program analyst and is recognized as having extensive knowledge of the mission, functions, interrelationships, operating processes and force structure procedures internal to the AAW P&A Division and USAASC.
Duties
Retrieves large amounts of career management and workforce data from various sources
Uses relational database concepts, star schema, class and object source data, tables, joins, dimensions, and measures (sum, count, average, maximum, minimum) to mine data, build reports and develop various dashboards.
Uses visualization software (e.g. Power BI and Tableau) to visualize data in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis.
Designs and maintains related key performance indicators.
Develops the most efficient and effective automated approaches for presenting operational data and graphics required to satisfy various requirements
Uses systematic approaches to problem solving, recommending alternative courses of actions and implementation of innovative approaches to data mining and analysis.
Identify problems and develop innovative solutions.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for (Practitioner) Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11/(NH-02) level in the Federal service which includes:
1) Developing, using Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedules complaint with DoD-5000 policy guidance and requirements;
2) Adjusting Integrated Master Schedules for changes in program events;
3) Utilizing technical knowledge of schedule develop systems to provide impacts for a variety of scenarios and to analyze data to develop solutions to mitigate schedule issues;
AND
4) Communicating project/program schedule status to identify areas needing emphasis and to ensure schedules are accurately planned and executed and align with projected funding.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
